Back in 2006 a group of friends who met up on an occasional basis decided that their social activities and the stories that came from them deserved more . . .
‘The Jolly Girls Outings’ were formed.
Each of the members took it in turn to organise and host a social event, write a newsletter or produce photos of some very embarrassing occasions.
What happens in the JGO stays in the JGO until now....
2009 saw the launch of the JGO’s first website.
Out go the written newsletters and text messages for we have now been dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century.
